Your advice required.

I've non-accompanying dependents in my PR application, which is RFV as per GCM notes. Our country of residence was UAE, however, now my dependents have been relocated to Pakistan, and I still live in UAE. Is it mandatory to update IRCC about the change in non-accompanying dependents' country of residence.

Please note, I'm principal applicant and my country of residence is same as in PR application which is UAE.

Finally received PPR today. It's been a looong wait. My application was approved since Dec 2020 and it was sitting in the RFV group. My medical was extended once for 1 year and I was not asked for a remedical. So, not sure how much time I have to move to Canada (probably till Dec).
Congratulations

All individuals mentioned in the application (whether accompanying or not) are subject to admissibility requirements, which includes criminality, medicals and security. If the country of residence of any individual mentioned in the application changes (whether accompanying or not), you are obligated to inform IRCC by sending a webform and updating the address on file.

Hi @legalfalcon,
I need to get my passport renewed - my COR is Pakistan.
Is there anything I need to be mindful of during or after the renewal process?
Will I need to update IRCC via webform? Is there any other document I will need to update?
Please advise.
thanks!

Hey guys,
Just wanted to update everyone that I underwent the medical exam on 27th, and cleared it today, the 30th. Took less than a week for the results to get uploaded. Also, the hospital where we got the exam done, sent us the results of some of the basic tests on mail.
Hoping to see lots of pprs soon, please keep sharing your updates here. Good luck to everyone! :)

After you get your new passport, you should inform IRCC by sending a webform and a scanned copy of the biographical pages of the renewed passport. Your passport will be added to your file.

Hi @legalfalcon ,
My application is approved a month ago. I can see counterfoil and copr details in my gcms notes. I have not received PPR request yet.
I need to change my country of residence soon. I will inform IRCC about the change. My question is , do you think it would cause reopenning of my application or any negative impact on my application in general ?

Thank you in advance.

If you change your CoR, you have to update your new address with IRCC. This has no bearing on the processing as such except that when you get a PPR, you will be sent the details to submit your PP in your new CoR.

Thanks a lot @legalfalcon . Should I inform IRCC via webform request only about change of CoR ? Or I have to do something else ?

@legalfalcon I have a question that I'd really appreciate your input on. My fiancé is my accompanying dependent in our FSW-Outland application and I received "ready for visa" email recently. I was the only one who received the email from IRCC. Is this normal or both of us should have received the email? I just want to make sure that my fiancé did not have to receive a separate "ready for visa" email from IRCC. Thank you!

First of all, under immigration law, you cannot have your fiancé as a dependent in your application. A dependent can only be your spouse, common-law partner and children.

If the primary applicant received a letter to submit the passport, it is for all dependents indicated in the application. The dependents will not receive separate letters.
