@legalfalcon I was just wondering if you could please let me know whether the way one replies to first PR portal email affects how long the wait is for the second with the login credentials? I replied

"Hello,
Please send the portal invitation to this address, xx@xxx
I have no dependents or spouse/partners.

Name: name
UCI:******
Email:*****
Original entry date: dd mmm yyyy
Date of last time you entered Canada: dd mmm yyyy
Location where you last entered: xxxxx

Looking forward to the invitation email.
Best"

Did it wrong? just wondering if it's an automated system that scans the email and gets stuck if it's not done in a certain way....I received first email 2 days ago.

Thank you in advance for your time

Give it 1-2 weeks and you should have a reply.

Hi @legalfalcon

Can I apply for a work visa, then change country of residence? i.e. Can I submit my visa while living in country A, then move to country B and receive my visa from the VAC in country B? Countries A and B have different visa offices
Thanks!

Yes, but you will have to inform IRCC and it may take some time.

It was in one of the most recent "NOTES" and it says: "Reassessment has been granted and a new medical certificate with a validity of 12 months has been issued in GCMS. [...]"
Can you please tell in which page of GCMS, you are seeing this comment? In mine, which was received a month back, I only see medical-passed-expired.

Thanks for the answer. Hard to get used to the variability of waits IRCC displays ...so many people get that second email 1-2 days after the first, and then I've seen people getting it after a month...was just hoping the way one answer doesn't have impact.

It is in the portion in which all the "NOTES" are, towards the end of the GCMS notes. It is not in the first part, in which only the current status is listed.

Hey guys,

Anybody get through to ircc on 00 1 888 242 2100?

I keep calling and all i get is nobody picking up. I am using textnow app

EVERYONE when replying to first portal email, reply to IRCC.ClientPortal-PortailClient.IRCC@cic.gc.ca not IRCC.ClientPortal@cic.gc.ca make sure the first address is in the recipient field. If you hit reply to the first email if makes you reply to the second address, but it doesn't exists, you won't get the second email. Use the first address which is the one in their signature. Many cases of people not getting the second email for days, then you reply to the first address, and you get it the day after (including me)

I called them today via the Toronto Pearson International Airport number (+19056763640) and it connected on the first ring. I started calling at about 7:45am local time though, to avoid a protracted wait.

I hope that helps.

Congratulations, atleast one person is saved from this anxiety of unknown delays.

I am still hopeful that the remaining applications will be processed soon.

Congratulations. Quick question when you submitted the IMM 5669 form, did you print and signed the form or did you electronically sign it. The request letter says documents to be submitted bearing original signature, hence I am confused.

Once filled the form you have to validate it, at that point you don't need to sign that form, they will take the electronic signature at the end of the upload process as the official signature
