CV was requested mid-august (6 months after my AoR).
Did you order GCMS notes or send a webform since you got the request? Do you know if getting the CV request means the eligibility is conclusively passed by a case officer, or just by an analyst?
I called them. My eligibility was passed (conclusively), yes. Security started less than two weeks after CV and student form was uploaded. You can raise a webform and inquire about different parts of your application (eligibility, medical, security, etc).

Resume is asked for security screening as well ? Do they ask for a resume even after eligibility is passed ?
Yes, they ask for it for security screening after eligibility is passed. But they don't ask everyone. I've been told they ask people with masters and PhD degrees in sciences.

Do they ask only for those who studied in Canada? thanks

Thank you for your answer. I sent a webform last week and waiting for their reply. Hopefully my eligibility would be passed too.

No, they are not very transparent about what they do anyway so as far as I can tell it seems random but I'm sure they are following some logic.
so should we raise webform and give them upfront?

Hi All

My medicals are about to expire soon. I am FSW inland applicant. I wanted to know what process does IRCC follow for granting medicals extension. Could some senior members like @legalfalcon shed some light on this. For which cases do they grant extension and for which cases they ask for remedicals. Thanks in advance.

Extending meds is at the discretion of the Health Branch of IRCC. When your meds have expired or are about to expire, IRCC will send them for reassessment to the regional medical officer, who makes a determination on whether to extend them or ask for remeds.

If your application is in progress and your likelihood of landing in Canada is slim in the next 6 months, then IRCC will ask for re-med. Also, your initial medical code will be a factor.

Yes, most people don't get asked for this. I'm not sure what metric they use, I'm just trying to find out how long this process is gonna drag after this CV request.

Hi, I was asked for CV, student form, and background clearance form in middle Sep 2020, and I got CoPR in early January 21. Hope it helps.
