For inland applicants IRCC will send will send an email and will ask yo to provide an email address so that your account can be created on the new IRCC portal:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio.../immigrate-canada/pr-confirmation-portal.html

After your account is created, you can verify your presence in Canada, and upload a photo for your PR card, and you will receive the COPR.

Some inland applicants have stared receiving emails in the last week.

If you just received a letter, then the letter will be addressed to the principle applicant. To be on the safer side send the pics of all the individuals in the application.
Thanks so much for this insight @legalfalcon. We did not receive an email for the portal, only the information letter asking for photos addressed to my husband who is the principal applicant. We will be sending our photos to the Vancouver office. Thank you so much, this was really really helpful.

Hello All,

I needed some help with webforms. They have mostly been useless for me as the two times I ordered them, I received a very generic response which did not give me any information about my file. I had specifically asked them for my eligibility, security and criminality statuses which was not addressed in their response. Can someone guide me if there is something else I need to add in my request which might increase my chances of getting a specific response regarding the individual statuses of my file? Any help is much appreciated...
Same here.. standard response with no details. BTW, how do you get your PVO and SVO details? I have similar timeline and situation as yours.

I got to know the VO Details from my GCMS notes. If you have not ordered your GCMS notes yet, I would recommend you do. It shows all the details related to you case and its like peering into their world to see how the internals works. Its also good to see if you have any items under review and mitigate that by sending prompt completion/support documents to plug those gaps. Good Luck!

Hello everyone...

I got a response from my last webform (Sent it on November 28th 2020).
Just a generic answer: YOUR APPLICATION IS IN PROCESS.

We gave biometrics on October 26th 2020.
AOR Feb 28 2020
CEC Inland + Spouse.
Med Passed.

On July 2020 we sent a webform asking about our application and they response with this.
  • The security background verification is currently valid.
  • The criminal background verification is in process.

Question for @legalfalcon
Do you know how long does it take for IRCC to complete BACKGROUND CHECK?
As I mentioned, we gave biometrics on October 26th, the same day our profile was updated.

Last GU was on July 27th 2020 when they responde the webform saying SECURITY IS CURRENTLY VALID.

Thank you!

Hi everyone,

Hope you are well. I need some help with something.

I have received my COPR in email and have raised a webform request to update my residence address on the 15th of December. I was planning to submit the passport to the VAC here after having received confirmation that my residence address has been updated.

How do I check if my residence address has been updated?

Thank you!

Hi All,

Well we ordered GCMS notes in the month of November which we recently received, as per the notes our file is approved in the month of September where secondary office is mentioned: New Delhi . It also shows COPR/ COUNTERFOIL are issued but the status is mentioned as not started. We are worried since the COPR and Approval date was month of September, we might have missed out PPR request. If a PPR is issued is it mentioned on the GCMS notes? and which page should we check for the same. Please advice

It usually does not take long to process criminality, but it has to be seen if they are working on it.
My criminality in in progress since beginning of April (by the way, is anyone else in the same situation?)
