Hi everyone,
Checking if anyone is same situation as me...

AOR: FEB 05, 2020 inland CEC
I called the agent in early August, he said everything pass ( eligibility, criminal, background), just the final decision is pending, and I can expect the PPR soon. I wait till end of August and called again, different agent said the same thing and he doesn't know when I will receive PPR.

I dont know why it took them too long to close my file and issue PPR when everything pass...

Same thing. Called them last Thursday and was informed that everything is passed. Some officer seems to be vacationing in last days of summer. I would assume as schools are opening back up, their kids will have to go back to school and he/she has to start working again, we all will be approved in short span of time.

Eligibility on going still under process
security background not started
criminality background valid,

what is the difference between security background and criminality?

Also my question is, why the eligibility is still under process after 7 months into the application? is this the trend now a days because of Covid-19? Should I ask for GCMS?

Someone from February AOR 2020 Paris local visa office got PPR yesterday, Outland applicant , got the info from a fellow Paris VO applicant in the Paris local Visa office thread.

Keep us posted on if COPR will follow the PPR, thanks.

• RPRF fee was submitted on 13th March

Estimated completion date was 17th Aug, it currently says "Your application is taking us longer than usual to process"

Review of eligibility
- We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements

Review of medical results
- We are reviewing the results of the medical exam

Review of additional documents
- March 18, 2020 We are reviewing the additional document you provided

Interview
- You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes

Biometrics
- March 8, 2020 Completed

Background check
- We are processing your background check. We will send you message if we need more information

Final decision
- Your application is in process. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Since then, no updates whatsoever.
Should i just keep waiting for the PPR (hopefully), any advice what my next steps should be?

I have received a ghost update today also raised GCMS notes 15 days back, awaiting.

Any idea what does a ghost update signifies ?

Possible the GU means your security is passed.

Hi,

I am in a similar situation, you should raise a webform first and see whether if any progress has been made, be specific in your webform as to what you are inquiring about. In my case, only criminality valid , security not started.

same situation.. raised a webform last monday asking about the status but no reply yet!!

Same situation. I submitted a webform last month (August 12), said that security background has not been initiated. Criminal background is currently valid.

I raised a webform last Monday as well, I found out that my VO is Ottawa and that security not started and eligibility under process.

I just got a reply for my webform..

· Your application was received via your account on February 12, 2020.

· Your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,

• The background verifications are currently valid.
• The security background verification is currently valid.
• The criminal background verification is currently valid.

· Your application is currently located at the Canadian visa office in New Delhi, India.

Is this means everything is done and I have to patiently wait for PPR email??
