My PA came in august under dual intent, I called and changed her address to our place here in canada. We didn't get any confirmation email or what have you, were we supposed to? I'm always spooked they'll mail something to our old home in the UK
I came over under dual intent a month ago and updated our addresses via email to my visa office. I received an email to say that the information had been added to our file. but when i checked to see if both our addresses has been updated they had only changed mine, so i sent a webform to update my partners and checked again a few weeks later and his was updated but we never received confirmation. so i guess it just depends how they feel on the day. I think even if they dont update it on your account they still have it on file.

I would check eCAS and log in using both the sponsor's and the applicant's information to show the information is correct. There is a section for home address and another for mailing address.
This is the only place we've found that shows our addresses.
Hi Stacey!!

You guys have been in my thoughts recently so I thought I would pop on and see how you are all doing.... I am SO happy that you are nearing the end!!

As for the COPR, when I had the PPR come through I sent all the requested bits off that same day, had tracked and fast delivery and it arrived that night. The next day I then had my COPR come through on GCkey and then the paper COPR came to my house via signed postage the next day. I couldn't quite believe how fast it happened, but they have all our passport info and photos etc so I think it is more so a final clarification.

All the best, the moment you are reunited is so close now, and ever so rewarding.

Didn't hear from you for a long time! How are you guys enjoying your life in Canada? :)

The LDVO has asked me to submit my updated address and personal history on Schedule A "IMM 5669E".

Does anyone know how am i supposed to send this to them. Should i mail the form to the LDVO physical address or should i reply to the same email i have received the request from.

My application went through a legal representative, so its not attached to a GCKey account.

Hi there,

Thanks for checking on us and your message with the additional info. I really, really hope we are that close now. Thankfully I've been able to visit my husband in the UK which is much better than waiting apart for sure. We've been finishing up getting his house ready to sell and it's going on the market this week!

Other than that, we're just waiting patiently (impatiently!) :-)

How is everything in Canada? All settled in for the winter?
