Yesterday I got a letter asking for additional document from Delhi CIC office, I am confused howcome the letter from Delhi office, when my application is still in Sydney without file transfer Mail.
Really confused on what stage of processing it is...

not everyone gets transfer email or notification, if you got communication from the VO then your on to the next phase.
I looks like things are in order for your application. You are a Feb applicant if you are transferred to your local VO office or CPC-M then you are further ahead than many people.
Many many congrats...DM this morning, and now Pre Arrival Services just came through! PPR next

Hi just got a quick question. So I'm sponsoring my wife and we got the passport request email on June 30th i believe and we submitted her passport on July 2nd. Now the visa office where she is is asking for her to come pick up her passport. If she picks it up and everything tomorrow, does that mean I can start booking a flight to Canada? Also i will be posting my timeline here later for others that are nearly on the same boat as us to view. Good luck to everyone and thank you in advance!!

Well she need to land as PR as soft landing so i would wait it but if not she enters as visitor so you would have to leave canada like to usa something to complete the soft landing when pr arrive, usually copr is sent a few days after so... for all the things and difficulties i would wait it...

"Ghost update" - some says.. I experienced that too.. I noticed that June 6 in my GCKEY, then when my application was approved, I saw in my GCKEY stated that background check is complete on June 6 .. so I just assumed the "Ghost update" is regarding my background check
