Does anyone understands the process than i do?

I need to know when Sydney office transfer your file for further processing?
And what holds them to keep the file in Sydney? Like checking principal applicant eligibility first or what they do?
Because it’s now 2 months since SA, bio and medical, with no transfer yet.
My situation is same as yours.

I have the same timeline as you my husband's file was received on feb 26
Have they asked you for all these documents?
And how did you send them all these documents? as I was thinking to send through an email which they have provided on the letter.
Lastly, for the Pan card he does not have the last name on it so should we still send it?
They dint request me as i sent all supporting docs with original app.
Better sent only those docs where name is exactly same. Send adhar card, education certs like 10th 12th graduation post-graduation.

is it weird to be transferred to my VO before having my Biometrics and medical done?

No it’s not. Medicals are only valid for twelve months so if you are transferred abroad you will receive the medical request closer to the time you are to receive PR. This is a good thing, otherwise you run the risk of your medical expiring before you enter Canada and have to pay the medical costs again (cost me approx $700 in Brisbane).

then wait..... just check your ECAS. when line 2 changed to "We started processing", after a few days or a week PPR instructions will come. (however we should remember it's 12months processing atleast)

Thanks for that info! $700!!!!? I heard $500-$600. I will get mine in cairns when they request it. Probably more expensive because it’s a small city

Yeah I was charged an extra $115 on the day because I have a tattoo which meant a Hep B test was required.
The worst part is 100% of the urine and blood test on the day would be covered by Medicare but because it’s for immigration you have to get done as a “commercial request” which means you have to pay the $500-700.

My medical was done with BUPA (the only option in Brisbane) - Cairns is done with Sonic so hopefully you’ll get a better price when the time comes.

Hey, Can someone please tell me if it's ok to travel around Asia for 1 month around the time of possible PPR, if i was to get PPR while travelling is it easy enough to send the documents, i am from visa exempt country so would only need to send photo copy of passport and 2 PR photos which i could get just before i leave for my travels, plus the forms they require to send.
