Wow. we have same timeline. My spouse completes her medical on April 12th too. Still waiting for medical to be passed.

Yeah they are a bit slow those days on MR. Saw it updated on CIC. Now we wait BR to be confirmed. it says "
Review of medical results | You passed the medical exam. " and Biometrics : they are already in the profile but nothing that says Approved / completed whatever.

Starting to think is there really a way to know if BR is completed ? They are already recorded in CIC so ? lol maybe i wait for something that will never happen cause i see most ppl on the spreadsheet ,. majority is the same day they sent.. idk hehe

Is biometrics completed the same as passed? or completed means, applicant completed the biometrics and CIC have them, passed mean CIC approves the biometrics results ?

i dont know that's what i'm asking.. the biometrics are set in the profile but the application step is still the classic " we don't need your fingerprints bla bla.."

there's no mention that it's been approved or something. On the other hand.. for medical it's showing tho.

When biometrics are received it will change to "Completed." That's the date people are entering on the spreadsheet. For many people this happens on the same day as they actually give biometrics, as most VACs send them electronically.

Medical done 16th of April haven't heard anything yet. Still have not got bio request.yet email said application sent to Kingston Visa office.

When biometrics are received it will change to "Completed." That's the date people are entering on the spreadsheet. For many people this happens on the same day as they actually give biometrics, as most VACs send them electronically.

We have an email saying that the Visa center sent the BR and they are on CIC i see the number expiration etc.. but the task is not yet stated as Completed that's what i don't get.. those been sent on April 8th...

For us, the same day that the Visa office sent the Biometrics of my P.A. to IRCC, it showed on his GCkey all the details of his biometrics. That means it is completed.

Hey everyone,
I need some advice regarding our medical as we are really worried and confused. We received the biometrics and medical request a while ago, but unfortunately my husband was diagnosed with jaundice around the same time. He was hospitalized for about 10 days. He is in the process of recovering but has not fully recovered yet. Previously, we had planned to do the biometrics and medical as close to the end of the 30 days given to us as possible in the hopes that he would have recovered by then. But we have now heard from someone that it would cause problems even if they detect slight symptoms of jaundice.
Based on the information on their website, it seems like they are more concerned about serious illnesses such as hepatitis, while jaundice is a temporary illnesses and my husband is recovering quickly.
Does any one have any advice for us on what we should do? could this be a problem for us? and should we ask for an extension to do the biometrics and medical by submitting a webform request with the doctor's note about his illness?
I would appreciate any help in this matter. Thank you!

Our process was different in that our VAC sent them electronically immediately, but I know that some VACs in India (and apparently in Mexico/Central America) send the information physically. I wouldn't worry about it as long as the biometric data shows up in your account -- I was just answering your question above about whether the message in GCKey ever changes and why people were entering the dates as the same day on the spreadsheet.

Ok , so just updated spreadsheet with the same date VAC provided email. Gonna wait the letter to apply for CSQ now

Weird thing happened for me, my wife's medical passed on the same day it was given. She went and gave the test on 8th April, and it showed up as passed on the same day.


Haven't heard anything since.
