AOR takes about 2-3 months apparently and SA is coming through very quick after that. By the looks of other threads, AOR takes the longest and then the rest comes through pretty effeciently. Hopefully end of March ours will be coming through!
You guys have approximate timeline for getting sponsorship approval letter? I am planning to apply visitor visa for my spouse after sponsorship approved.

Did anyone start a whatsapp group? It’s only been 10 days since they received our application but it feels so much longer . Such a slow wait it feels

Waiting is annoying atleast until the ball starts rolling with AOR. Hopefully we start seeing ours around end of March (by current trends) if not sooner.

Yes exactly! I can’t wait to see people’s AOR come through on this forum! So great having this forum to connect with others. Makes it feel a lot easier!
You're right, I said exactly the same thing a couple of weeks ago: see other people's progress (like now December applicants are getting their AORs and med requests) somehow helps you to wait and hope for the best.

Once AOR is through, people are getting SA and MR through within a few days of each other!

Thanks for the reply. You guys were able to link your application to cic account yet?

I haven't notified either of them yet, will that have any impact on my spousal sponsorship? and I updated my status as married in my CRA Account. do I still need to call and inform them ?

As long as it reflects as married on your account you’re good.

I don't actually know what "notify Health Card" means.

From what I've heard from other people, and what I've done myself is just you need to update your status on CRA account. Updating online or calling them is the same thing. Just for people who don't have accounts, they can call.

When you're filing your taxes it's important to do that with a "married" status so it's getting along with your sponsorship application. And it's kind of like an additional proof for your application that you are actually married :)
