Yes, it's been over a month for me too, but I was told when you pay your bio late during the application process it takes a bit of time. Don't worry I am sure we will hear something soon. If you dont mind me asking how long did you send your application.Hello. Its been more than a month since my husband paid for his bio but never heard from them yet. Anyone with the same situation? TIA.
It was received on Feb8. How about yours?Any MR yet?Yes, it's been over a month for me too, but I was told when you pay your bio late during the application process it takes a bit of time. Don’t worry about it, it will updated once they stamp passport and dispatch it. After dispatch they will say we have approve your PR application and issue you travel document. Just sit back and relax, everything is done.Hello All!
Finally got some time for an update. My wife finally got a Passport Request! She got it on 7th May 2019 from Mississauga Visa Office. She deposited her Passport in her hometown VFS office in India a few days later. Our application was received on 4th Feb 2019, so 3 months till PPR is a pretty good timeline. I do have some confusions, listed below:
- On the Canada GCKey account, there isn't really an indication that a decision has been made for her. It still says her application is still in progress, in terms of Review of Eligibility, Background Check and Final Decision. The only indication is a message received, 'Invitation to Pre-Arrival Services', which is a letter detailing free services which can be availed upon arrival in Canada.
- On the ECAS account, the Permanent Residence section does say 'Decision Made', but there is no further mention of this when i got into the section itself, it contains old messages.
My query is, do we come to know the actual nature of the Decision Made (whether accepted or rejected) after PPR, or before it? Till now, we have gotten a PPR and a DM, but nowhere does it state what the DM really is, although there is a strong indication that the application is accepted.
I sincerely hope everyone gets a positive update on their requests as soon as possible. Cheers.
Congratulations!Hello All!
