Question about Medical:
I understand that you visit the panel doctor first and then go the lab for further tests.
We pay about $220 for the doctor visitation depending on who you visit. If my spouse who is the sponsored, gets her provincial health card, does that cover her visit to the doc?

Based on the flag on your profile, I assume you are in Alberta. Alberta health care does not cover doctor visit, x-ray and blood test for immigration purposes. I just paid $250 for doctor, $50 xray and $100 for blood test in Edmonton. and they were all connected. I did not book them seperately even though they are different clinics.

I'm Feb 28th, AOR received, and I hadn't heard any news about my OWP until 30 minutes ago. It was approved! I'm sure it won't be too long for you to get yours.

There is a clinic list in different provinces on CIC website. you can find one near your place.

I have a question for the folks who received their medical requests. Did you receive an update on eCAS at the sametime? I sponsored my wife **Inland - Feb**

trying to understand if the eCAS gets updated at the same time as receiving Medical request.

We recieved our medical exam on April 13th (saturday) and had to wait 'til Monday to schedule an appointment - but we could not book an appointment anywhere in Calgary til tomorrow (all were up to 2 weeks in advance and I called every one of them and lucked out with one who had an appointment cancelled haha) and then my wife will get the XRAY done the same day...then we have to wait til Tuesday to get the blood work done because of holidays.

$225 exam
$85 xray
$40 blood work

So the way it is looking, med request recieved April 13th, completed April 23rd.
