I have an old certificate (February 2018), I don't know what they consider the statue of limitation on a police certificate. Anyone any idea?
Also looking for recommendations for cheap but official translation services (in GTA area)?

Might be a dumb question, but does my medical being submitted to Immigration mean I have passed the medical portion? Or is that it's still being decided even after they've received it?

I used a place called DocBase Canada in Toronto. The price was fair compared to other places. They are located at 5700 Yonge st www.docsbase.ca

I believe the certificates are only valid for one year. You need to get a new one I believe (don't quote me on that tho)

As far as I know, if you haven't visited that country since Feb 2018, you can still use that certificate. Cause nothing is going to change.
Only if you have gone to that country, then you need to get the latest police clearance certificate

Thank you! I’ll have to get a new one then

And Fan, there's no way you can do that in 30 days, just like the Government told us to get a Mexico PCC in 30 days. It is just a generic letter. All you need to do is close to the deadline date, provide proof that you have submitted a request to get a PCC through the CSE (case specific enquiry) and the agent will extend your time. They obviously know it will take longer than that, so no worries.

My spouse' fingerprints and photos have been sent via UPS and was received today.

Now the long, long two-three month wait. Perfect time to build more proof incase the Government asks, I suppose.

Thank you so much, that does make me feel a lot less stressed. I’ve been doing some research and if I get it delivered to my family back home, it’ll only take about 2 weeks (fingers crossed).

Is it true you can get an AIP before your BGC is fully completed?

My wife's police certificate will take months and we are curious if they will continue plugging away at the application while it is ongoing..

Hey people. Did anyone have background check started lately? I applied on feb 14th and still waiting. Am I supposed to receive an email? I am the principal applicant. I have a representative so I can't follow up on GCKey
