You can do your fingerprint anywhere in Canada:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...itizen/after-apply-next-steps.html#processing
"If we ask you to submit your fingerprints for citizenship, you’re responsible for paying all fees to have your fingerprints taken.
Your fingerprints must be taken electronically. You can arrange to have them taken through
  • your local police service
  • the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)
  • an RCMP-accredited fingerprint company
To find an RCMP-accredited fingerprint company, search online: RCMP accredited fingerprinting company [city name]. Make sure the fingerprinting company can provide you with a copy of their RCMP Letter of Accreditation.

Learn more about what services accredited fingerprint companies offer. "
Big thanks to you

Telephone: 1-888-242-2100 (in Canada only)
Client Support Centre agents - Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

I am trying to contact them for 3 days to update my marital status. I select 4 for Citizenship and 0 for the operator. All I hear is a recording that we are experiencing high call volume and cannot transfer your call. How you guys manage to contact them?

You'll probably need to call them at various different times till you get through. Try early in the morning.

Where can I find a list of things I need to bring to the interview? I didn't receive any letter from CIC (just an email) and am unsure of what documents
they require (originals of documents I sent with my original application but can anyone tell me what else they require?)
Thanks

Usually it's just an email. I don't think they would send you a letter if you chose to communicate with them electronically.
In the email there should be a pdf file attached. Everything you need to bring to the interview would be indicated in this document, including:
1. the notice to appear (the pdf file)
2. 2 pieces of personal identification, one of which has your photograph and signature on it; (e.g. driver's license, health card, etc.)
3. all your original documents that support your citizenship application (as listed in the document checklist in the citizenship application form);
4. Permanent Resident Card (if you have ever received one);
5. all original passports and travel documents in your possession (current and expired) .

I'm not sure if the documents to bring are the same for every applicant or for every local office. You should check your notice to appear in case of any difference.

Hi - I mistakenly deleted the CIC email that contains my UCI number. (and I don't have any other copies). What happens after the file goes "In Process"? Do you get notifications by email or post? Thanks!

please add me:
  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 8, 2019.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on April 11, 2019.
  3. We started processing your application on May 28, 2019.
single applicant, Richmond Hill Ontario
we actually did not receive any acknowledging receipt or study book, neither via e-mail or regular mail. It's been ''in progress'' for 2 months already. Should we be worried about it?

Shuga you've received both:
"We sent you correspondence Acknowledging Receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on April 11, 2019."
This sentence is informing you that they got your application which is your AOR, and if you press on the Discover Canada blue link it will redirect you to the book.

My UCI nr. is actually my PR ID number but without the dash in the middle.
You can check your PR and add the nr in Ecas under UCI and see if you can get in.

Shuga you've received both
well... i can see the link but i did not receive any correspondence... I'm more worried that it takes them two months to process :(

Did you check your spam folder? If you haven't received any, I recommend to call CIC and confirm that they have the correct email on file. My application went in process on May 31st and I haven't heard anything since so it's still a waiting game.

If it's deleted from Gmail then it's easy to recover. It goes in archive. Restore it if you can.
If it's other account (Outlook, yahoo etc) then google it to find a way to restore email.
