It’s not actually the case for applicants after 31st December 2018. All applicants have this as the status from their AOR till now. Don’t think anyone has this status changed even after MEP or biometrics completion. So it’s not actually the real IP2 that people describe here in this forum. It’s just an assumption based on trends nothing concrete to conclude that this is the only pattern followed.

Do applicants from 1st Jan 2019 have IP1 status that you’ve mentioned? I wasn’t aware of it. Again, these are just speculations and not exact situations. People in this forum have had some base to extract these findings but not necessarily applicable to all applicants. Just shared my thought too. Nothing against what you said.

my status was changed on same day of meds passed from

"Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." to

"we are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.",

Guess I might be in IP2,

Hi everyone,

It’s been a month since I submitted my biometrics but I don’t see any update in my application. However my spouse’s biometrics got updated the very next day. I don’t understand why is it taking so long? I raised a CSE and got a reply saying that “ all the documents have been received by responsible office and your application is still in process "
I wonder if they continue with background check without processing biometrics?
Anyone with the same situation please help !

Visa Office: Centralized Intake Office, Sydney, Nova Scotia
Background check: in progress
Eligibility: in progress
Security: in progress
Anyone knows the processing time at Sydney office? I've heard it is slow

Every application is processed at a different pace and some profiles get an update and some don't, This means that your application is reviewed and you need not worry about this.

I am new in this thread, have few queries.
1) how we can check status is in IP1 or IP2
2) Do we have any whatsapp group for feb2019 Aor group

My Medical is passed on 04feb19 but after that no update, can any one suggest what will be next step and how much time this will take ?

This is my current status.

Review of eligibility -- We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results --You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents --We do not need additional documents.
Interview -- You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics -- We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check -- We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision -- Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made
