ok, got my test invite update on ECAS but no mail yet.. is it like email or postal mail they will send? and thankfully i got the test invite at least..1 step closer

I applied at 23 Feb 2018 got my acknowledgement 14 may 2018 in process 10 July 2018 still waiting for test date

It doesnt help at all to send requests. They just keep giving me the runaround.
Ive been in process since May 9. No updates since then. All BG checks done since Jan, so they are just sitting on the application. They just keep giving me same answer we will contact you if we need more info and we will inform the processing office.
I've been sending updates every two weeks and its alwaysathe same story. So i think it's pretty much useless to keep contacting them
Every two weeks is absurd. Wait for at least a month before contacting them again.
I did everything. They said security check is still in progress. Criminality is passed. Welcome to the CSIS's murky world of security clearances. Cheers!
Live your life; don’t make them too important! Your application will be alright eventually.
