Just ordered CSIS and GCMS notes. Let's see what they respond.. GCMS takes 30 days to come, CSIS also says 30 days.
How long it took for you to get it CSIS?

Almost 25-30 days. Hopefully you hear some good news in CSIS letter. For me its was "Your security screening case is still in progress". :(

Invitations (test, oath) show up in the ECAS at least three weeks in advance.

mine didn't show, not before the test, but even after i lost my first test date, It shows that we started processing your application on May 8, 2018.
I learned that i had been invited for a test (January 8, 2019), when I called CIC in early February, that makes me worried that something is not right with the notification system that they have in place. How is it possible for me to miss both the AOR and Invitation for test, while I have received all other communication through the web in my inbox. Now I fear that my application will stay on someone desks for another 6 months or so. I don't know what's the procedure they follow for the cases like mine!!!!

Look at the junk mail , it might be there
Junk mail keeps the mails only for a month.
when I got the news it was over one month, so i couldn't prove that they send it and it ended up in junk mail! from that day on I keep checking my junk mail on daily basis.

Have you tried updating your email in their system? Perhaps they have captured the email incorrect. Updating it to a different one than what they have currently may help - Just a thought.
Yes I have confirmed my email, and my home address were correct, since the first time i checked with the CIC officer over the phone. Last time i called one of the officer suggested that i remove my email address from the file so they will mail me the invitation for the next test date, I am hoping. I had planned to travel with the kids for this summer but as it looks it will not be possible. I was wondering how long it will take if a reapply for my PR that has expired

PRs renew is now 27 days in the cic web processing time, I did it last October and it tooks 75 days. It is very accurate if you don't have any additional status review.

Hi All,

How many guests can I take along with myself to a Citizenship ceremony?

Mine is coming up on April 4 (Mississauga Office). I want to take my parents along.

Would really appreciate if someone could shed some light on this topic.

Thanks in advance!

Oath Invitation - Mar 25 **via e-mail?! For some reason I thought I'd get a piece of mail..
Oath Ceremony - Apr 30
"Decision made" status in the ECAS since Mar 11th.

I followed up on my application on Mar 06 because my name changed half away through he process. Seems like it was stuck somewhere as the status changed to DM a few days later. I also ended up having to do 2 fingerprints for the process: the regular one once ur paperwork is analyzed and one after my test/interview when the officer noted my name change. Worth noting I did get fingerprinted when I changed my name, so really 3 checks --'

Let the countdown begin!! :D
