Hi All,

I just got done with the Test at Mississauga office today at 07:45 AM.
I passed the test 20/20. Officer did not find any issues with my file.

Waiting for oath invite now.

Hi everyone,

Do the oath letter and ceremony dates get updated on ECAS? or completed is the last update right after Decision Made?

Thanks,

ECAS is rather inconsistent. Sometimes dates show up before you get emails, sometimes after, sometimes never.

Hi,
Please advise.
What I have to do for now?

  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 19, 2018.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 18, 2018.
  3. We started processing your application on May 10, 2018.

WHICH OFFICE IS YOUR FILE????

Just Patiently Wait... if you are lucky you'll hear from IRCC soon.. you can also try wasting your time contacting MP... WEBFORM.. GCMS... IRCC Call centre... Etc Etc:.. but from what we can observe from these forums.. WAIT when your turn comes in :) :p

I think we sent applications to Sydney NS.:(
Thank you!

Hello,

I have applied since Feb 2018 but no test invite still. I made ATIP request to both IRCC and CSIS and got my notes 2 days ago. IRCC notes showed that:

Security: Blank
Criminality: Passed
Immigration clearance (Residence, knowledge, etc): Not started

Last update on the file was in June, 2018.

CSIS sent the letter stating that security clearance still in progress.

Is there anyone else who is facing the same dilemma?

My timeline is:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 5, 2018.

2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canadaon February 28, 2018.

3. We started processing your application on May 30, 2018.

Are you a Mississauga applicant too???

Thats my timeline:

  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 1, 2018.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 5, 2018.
  3. We started processing your application on April 24, 2018.

Originally I was a Kitchener applicant but then I moved to Mississauga few months ago and updated my address on file. My file is still in Kitchener local office for processing even though they have my new address of Mississauga on file from quite some time now.

Hopefully, we will both hear some thing soon. Did you request ATIP request from IRCC and CSIS?

My journey is over. Thank you members for the encouragement.
