Hi admin,

Please update spreadsheet:

I took the exam Sept. 4, scored 20/20.

DM: Sept. 6, 2018

Good luck everyone!

Cheers!:)

Congratulations. You and I had the exam on the same day and place. I did not get DM though. The officer said my applications needs 3-4 months to be finalized. I don't know what that means. 3-4 months to DM or to Oath ceremony. Did the officer who interviewed you say anything to you to give you an idea about DM or oath? Thanks

Hi,

I passed my test today 20/20 and the interview was less than 10 minutes, straightforward and smooth. Mostly identity and passport stamps checks. The officer told me it could take 3-4 months to finalize my application.

My question is, are background checks completed before one is called for an interview, or can they still be going after the interview. I am just asking because I feel 4 months is a long time. From what I know, the interview is the last major step and checks before the oath.

I think it depends on the location. I see lots of Calgary applicants getting their oath ceremony very fast but for example Vancouver takes longer. Just judging by looking at the timeline.

Hey all,

Hope everyone is doing great. Just wanted to let you know that I've moved to Toronto (from Winnipeg) a couple of days ago. I called IRCC and came to know that my file has already been transferred to the Scarborough office :)

Happy to know that most of you have been getting great news with your applications.
Wishing you all good luck! ;)

Not quite. There is a family of four who almost have identical timeline to mine. We went to the exam interview same day and same office. They got DM in two days. I did not.

FP done; 31 July 2018

Thank you! I just checked this morning, Then I saw DM, both for me and my husband.

The Officer told us to wait 3-4 months. I'm not sure if its for the oath taking.

But my friend who took the exam last July 9, 2018, still didn't have her schedule for Oath taking ceremony.

Thank you. That’s a relief. I hope I get DM within the week. I hope you do the oath soon. It depends on the capacity. I see they have ceremonies 3-4 times a week. Good luck
