I just called cic now, an agent told me my application is being processed at ottawa and my background check is really taking long for them cos they are finding it hard to finish up with it cos i have a lots of travelling in my passports and the agent also said my eligibility has not started and he said i have still august for everytn to be done.
ITA feb 7
submitted feb 20
aor feb 20
medical passed march 6.

My advice for everyone on this forum is to be patience. They are trying their best to make sure everything works fine.

I'v decided to be patience and not to rush the process.

if you want to call cic, make sure you call either thursday or friday and be ready to be on the line for 30 mins bfr you get an agent to speak to.

Hey all,
for those who still haven't received their PPR, you're not alone in this journey. Only thing we can do is wait.
Got my AoR on Feb 6, and I've been in IP2 since March 27 (that I know of). Not exactly sure of the date because I only started following the application daily from that day on.

its slow these days, previously it was under 5 weeks,

Oh really
The wait is painful but just have to be patient and hopeful.

I applied for my BOWP a week after and that has been approved but I haven’t had any updates since Feb 27th (as far as I know). Been in IP2 since. Hopefully it’s a good sign that one got approved

Just called CIC today and Agent told me that They don't need Additional document at the moment. My eligibility is recommended pass. They are processing my background check at the moment which may take upto 6 months. My VO is CPC-Ottawa. For timeline, please see my signature. I hope we all got PPR very soon...!
