I submitted application in 9th feb and they started process feb 23 and March 29th received letter stating required finger prints.
Finger prints done April 6th and I called rcmp to know status of my finger prints they told me it is in process and once process is complete they will send to cic, I would like to know how long it usually takes for finger print process.
If any of member can advice.

Thank you

I guess it depends how the fingerprints are processed. I got mine done here in brampton. I got them in mail in 8 days and then i mailed it myself to CIC ... still waiting for an update.

The test for me and my family is in May 8.. I am a bit nervous about it
It would be great if the applicants who did their tests share their experience here with us. I know that some did and it was very helpful
Thank you in advance and good luck to all of us :)
Did my test the other day. Done it under 5 mins, first one to finish. 20/20.
I read the book twice.
Practice test once everyday, 3 set of 20 questions.
You'll be fine!
Good Luck!

Finally the wait is going to be over soon: "We sent you a notice on April 20, 2017 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on May 16, 2017 at 9:00 AM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment"

I think I'm the 2nd February end applicant who got OATH quickly.

Congratulations! Mai I know which office did you file your application?

I did my finger print at RCMP office and got results in mail in 10 days. I have sent my finger print to CIC ( Vancouver office ) and mail was delivered on April 19, 2017 so far nothing has changed in my ecas. I Wonder how much time they take to reprocess application after they received finger print . The letter I had got in mail for requesting finger print it was saying that I have to submit correspondence within a month since the date they sent letter in mail and my letter was delivered on April 19 so they must have got it 8 days before.

Hi guys
I know at the citizenship interview the officer checks passport stamps. Unfortunately, 2 stamps of entry to Canada are missing on my passport. What should I do ? What documents should I take with me ? Both trips were to United States.
Please help

It could be different from officer to officer but during my interview, the officer did not check each and every stamp for every entry and exit.
The officer wanted to see my international (India and Europe) but did not care much about US trip stamps.
If you want to be 100% sure, take plane ticket or hotel reservation maybe? If you don't have any of those, then don't worry about it.

Can anybody please advise ?
What all documents do people take to their citizenship interview besides original docs. I have heard people are asked to show their company id etc. Have you guys taken pay stubs etc. ?
Also I m missing some passport stamps. Will I get CIT0520 then ? What extra documents should I take ?
