My test was on March 31st. My cic office is in Edmonton. I have traveled a couple of times outside of Canada before the citizenship application.Congratulations, mine is IP since April 6. Where did you apply? Have you been traveling a lot to other countries before applying for Citizenship?

- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 6, 2017.
- We started processing your application on March 9, 2017.

Congratulations.... so they gave you oath letter right after your interview ?Hi all.
Sharing my timeline for the benefit of the members and update on the sheet:
App received: Feb 20th
AOR: Feb 27th
Citizenship Test invitation: July 24th
Test date: Aug 21st
DM Status: Aug 22nd
Oath / Citizenship Ceremony: Sept 12th
Office: Mississauga
The test was super easy. Both, my wife & I, got 20/20. The interview was straight forward and the judge was very polite.
Those anxious about the test MUST read the book at least once and then practice the various online sample tests. I found below to be the best resource to practice and fairly spot-on (& in the given order):
I hope this helps. Best of luck to all.
- http://citizenshipcounts.ca/guide (read by topic first)
- http://citizenshipcounts.ca/flashcards (helps remembering what you read)
- http://citizenshipcounts.ca/quiz (take timed tests of 20 questions and also extended tests of up to 100 questions. Very helpful.
