Hi,

Did you have any problems uploading the IMM 5257? Did you upload the filled out form as it is, not a scanned and signed copy?

Lastly, when you uploaded the said form, can you view the form properly or not? Your answer will be greatly appreciated. I am having trouble uploading the said form.

Hi! At first, I had trouble figuring out why I couldn't see IMM 5257, since when I check it from my files, it says that my Adobe software is not up to date, hence I cannot view it. But when I opened the file, it goes straight to my Adobe Acrobat Pro so I was able to fill out the form, as is. Not a scanned/signed copy. When you're done with the whole application process, you'll provide an electronic signature anyway

It's the same when I uploaded the form. I was able to view it properly through my Adobe Acrobat.

I was able to download and fill out the form and validate it.

However, when I started uploading it, the viewer says: Please wait... If this message is not eventually replaced by the proper contents of the document, you pdf viewer might not be able to display this type of document.

And then, after uploading, it says the document was uploaded successfully.

Do you think the visa officer will be able to view it properly? I can view it properly.

Never mind. I just called CIC and she said, since I applied for restoration of my status, the regular visitor visa processing time does not apply to me. This can take up months, she said. :-X

Hi all,

i have applied for visiting visa online through CIC on January 11, 2016. got a message the next week to give my medicals.They updated the status for the medicals to passed in CIC on January 26th 2016 after which i have waited for 4 weeks which is standard time for processing after medicals. but there is no update until now nor any status on the same.do they generally take such long time to process or is it only with me ?

i want to apply for my dad a visitor visa as I am a pr but still cant get super visa for him

he doesnt have property in his name but he is a ex govt employee with pension and bank balance with more than 20k$

travelled the middle east and north african countries..what are his chances of getting a trv.

Processing time on CIC is 15 days for visitor visa . For online applications from India. \

Does this include weekends ?
Applied on 24 Feb 2016 by when should i expect response from CIC ?
