It seems like feb 24 2014 is not lucky day for immigration. How many of you or your friends who applied on feb 24 are still waiting for PPR.Please share timeline.

thanks bud for reply....I send mail a week ago...and same time I talked on one customer care associate at CIC and he advised me to wait for the reply and then only send my passport , so I didn't send yet....Ask me to call them back..coming Friday if doesn't get any reply from CIC..I don't know what is happening...anyway do let me know when you get response from CIC...once again thanks for reply

Heyy did you send your passport to Ottawa? IF you sent it already, did you get it back with visa and COPR? I am still waiting to get mine back. I am loosing my patience. Two weeks and nothing yet.

I am a feb 26th applicant and i am still in process. I think ur right. My file is in process since 3rd sep 2014, its more then 6 months that its still in process.. Lets c how long does it takes..

same here, sent it on the 18th and was received on the 19.....i'm waiting for it desperately because we are planning to go back home and do our landing when we come back

Hi Everyone,

I have been a silent member of this forum for a long time now, just wanted to share my timeline:
Application received:march 28, 2014;
medicals: april 25
landing fees:may 26;
In Process: sep25;
Decision made: feb 06, 2015;
PPR: feb 13,
PP received at ottawa:feb 18
return tracker activated:mar 02
passport received back: march 04;
landed: march 04;

I sent an email and called CIC after i got decision made and they told me my file is still in nova scotia, but the very same day, i got the passport request from ottawa. so, i really dont know how it works but i sincerely hope all of you guys get yours soon. thanks a lot for sharing your cases in this forum.

I am also feb 14, 2014 applicant and my status is still medical received....when i called CIC yesterday they told me my file is in ottawa and reviewed by agent on march 02,2015. Background check is done. medical is good till April 11,2015. waiting for responce from an agent.

my work permit is expirying in 1st week of june,2015. when I asked to apply for renewal they told me to wait until april end and asked me to call them before appling for extension.

So I would like to suggest you to call them before you making application for WP extension....might be ur file is in last stage...

I agree with you that they didnt mention RCMP, but they also says please submit PCC of all country where you lived for more than six months(seems like generic format). Me and My partner both are in Canada for last 2 years. Thats why I had this doubt in my mind.

I also called CIC yesterday and I was told exactly the same thing. I am Feb 27th applicant, the agent I spoke with told me everything looks good on my file (background checks completed, medicals good etc). She also said they are looking into my file to see if there is a need to extend my medicals in the event CIC does not contact me before April 15, which is when my medicals is expected to expire.

On the area of work permit, I was also told to wait till first week of April before I apply because they it will expire in the first week of May. But I received a letter from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) couple of days ago informing me to renew my status in Canada or else I will forfeit the monthly benefits of my kids and wife. I had no choice than to go the way of CRA. I had to renew for me and my wife...it really sucks though having to cough out $600 to fix it

hi i phone cic like 3 times already 2 agents are realy not friendly the first one shes nice and told me that our application is in ottawa already. our medical will expire on april 16. and wp will be expiring on the 8th if april so we decided to apply for a new one since we need a valid status when we do our exit. and im pregnant giving birth on the 20th of april so i really need a status to apply for my ei. it really sucks to pay 600 for the 3 of us got a 4 y/o son too for trv.
