Guy’s i heard that if you already booked flight tickets ( outside Canada) and as soon as you go for landing at border and tell them that you will leave Canada with in one month and you already booked the tickets, then you have to show them ur flight tickets for proof, they will process you PR card very fast.
One of my friend told me about that. Guy’s any idea about that?
I don’t know the real truth.

that's good info and I'd be surprised that they actually do care about us if that's true 8)

I don't quite get how can this be possible as when you leave Canada you don't go through customs or immigration. So who are you going to tell you'll come back within a month? In my case when I have left Canada I didn't even get a stamp on the passport...

They meant when you go for landing to the border (once you receive your Passport back with PR visa stamped on it). When you cross the border by land, you can mention this to the officer at the border. They might consider and process you PR CARD faster (because even after you land, you will only have your COPR and then for them to send your PR CARD it takes about another couple months).

Haha they might as well care at that point becoz you will be PR then. OR I would like to think so LOL. Right now we are just immigration seeking random people...Sad but true

There is a key phrase I did not read properly, PR CARD hahhaha my bad..

O-PNP applicant, Application received = Feb 13; AOR = March 13. Medicals done; RPRF paid. E-cas = 'application received'

This is what I got on my GCMS notes today:
Eligibility = not started; Security = not started; Criminality = in progress; Medicals = passed-expired.

So, I am hoping by next December (2015) at least they will send PPR request!

I did Medicals in March, and the notes show passed-expired. Does it mean expired since >6 months have passed? Will I have to do medicals again?

hey drnas77,

I don't think you have to do the medical again since you are "passed"
and also I don't expect you to wait till next December to get PPR :) it will be much sooner! I can say that for sure 8)
