February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

My File of PNP was received by CIO on 10th feb and my IN PROCESS shown on 18t aug ... and then nothing from tht month .. my all other friends having same status of IN Process from last 3 months ............. can any one can give me some ideas tht wht is average time between In Process and PPR

it's being delayed these days so it's really hard to predict.

Eeeeep, just checked my ecas and it turned to IP on september 18th. ;D So happy right now, finally something is happening, even though I suspect we'll have to wait at least another month..

Cndvsa22 check your ecas, we should be about the same timeline as you had to submit some more documents too, right? I think you submitted them a little earlier than I did too. Fingers crossed for you!

Hi Guys,

My file received at CIC on Feb 7th 2014, I am under PNP category. On 14th August CIO - NS asked for my PCC (Police clearance certificate) from "X" country. I sent an email to CIC that my stay in "X" country was less than 6 months so I am not suppose to provide you with PCC from "X" country, but I never get any reply back yet for my email. I sent the email at the following addresses:

Centralized-Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca

CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca

But just to be on the safe side I still submitted my docs to "X" country Police to get PCC but the officials said the same thing that we can not issue you with PCC as your stay in the country was less than 6 months. I want to update CIC/CIO about it.

I will send CIO a written letter via post as well but just to be quick whats the best way to contact CIO, Sydney, NS via phone and email ? As the email address I have (stated above) are not useful.

Please share best phone and email contact info for CIO, Sydney, NS where you can correspond with CIO and can add info to your file.

Your help will be highly appreciated.

We have exactly the same timeline. On Aug 8 I sent them an email asking about my status. On Aug 14 they asked for police certificate from the village where my husband used to live. I contacted my embassy and they advised me to send them an explanation that country they asked PC from is actually a village cause it's obvious they made a mistake. On same day I mailed them a letter and followed up with 2 emails. And nothing...till last Friday when they sent me reply on my email from Aug 8 saying they are still waiting for PC. It took them 40 days to reply on my first email. They obviously still didn't open letter I sent them. I'm still not in process and really going crazy.
I tried to phone them, but I was told they don't have phone there but only using emails. All emails I sent were on CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca

Anyway, just wanted to share my story with you cause we have same timeline.
