yeeeeeeeeeee. i got in process now. application received 2/24/2014 and they start my application in process September 3. i just checked. super excited now . and good luck for other fellows

In fact I think it's a positive sign. ...at least the agent handling that candidate's file is reviewing it finally to make a DECISION. The candidate was in IP Aug 22 and received the email Sept 2 for additional documents.

may be they found out something not clear, so they asking for more documents.I think when yr application turns in process, it just means they have all required nescessary documents. but whenever sth is not clearly, they will ask more.Thats what I think

I agree it's an indication that the officer is reviewing the file for DM it just so happened that he/she needed extra documents for verification...considering the case, the husband just came July and IP was Aug 22..maybe just there are just special cases where they ask additional documents while it's on IP

my application was received on 19 feb and till now no news..but i was requested rprf last week.. but i heard applications recieved after 20 feb are getting in process.. lets hope they didnt miss our files. i am bc pnp applicant

requesting smthing from us is a good singn i guess. Atleast someone somewhere is looking at our files.

The question is, i am i able to get PR card till february? coz if not i can not leave Canada.

Since your status is already "in Process", you should receive your PR well before Feb, no need to worry.

I am not sure about the timeline for the pr card, but I have heard it takes between 1-2 months to arrive.
you should still be able travel without your PR card. just keep your landing papers with you and show it at the immigration counter at the airport.
