February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

My application was returned by CIC on the 18th February 2014 due to lack of one blimey signature of mine on a single document only. The explanation letter from CIC was dated 24th January 2014...nearly bloody 25days lost due to ass slow canadian snail mail system!!!I resubmitted the whole package again on the 19feb 2014 via dhl and these were received by MIKE of CIC on the 26feb 2014. Hoping for the best now..cannot wait to lose more precious time as my LOA is expiring on the 19th April 2014. I noted that all my documents were marked in by red ticks and also noted a UCI number given on the Generic form IMM0008.

it happen to me before i apply for a tourist visa they returned my application after 3 days so better yet carefully check everything before you submit something on cic because a simple mistake will cost time and effort good luck to your application

Hey, u dont need to be panic. Credit card always take some days to show up the transaction. So when it hasnt showed in the record yet, it doesnt mean the transaction is unsucessful. Give it couple of days and check it again

regarding on this credit card doesnt take time when you make a transaction even on CIC we already paid our application and within that time they took the money on our bank account we have 3 different bank accounts and whenever we try to make a transaction the money will be taken out that time i rather suggest you to call you bank then call cic dont wait for the time your application will be returned or else . ....

Our nomination is in and we're sending our application to CIO, NS in some days.

I would like to ask if the copies mentioned in the Document Checklist are to be certified i.e. Certfiied True Copies. Or will regulae copies suffice?

I didn't certify any of my copies and they accepted them, so no need to go through all the trouble of certifying your documents

Hey Guys,

I submitted my application to CIO on March 10, 2014. Later on, I met a problem on my receipt.

The problem is I paid online,printed out the receipt and attached it with my application to CIO. Everything was fine then.

Later on, when I checked my credit card transaction, which shows the transaction does not show up in their record.

But I did got my receipt.

I was so worried. Any suggestions right now? How shall I contact CIO?

I'd say you should probably contact your bank just to make sure everything went right with the transaction

Is there any way to confirm that either application would be returned or acknowledment would br given by cic?
Does cic take same amount of time for acknowledgement or returning application?
I mean to say if that if they want to return they would return early and if they wana give acknowledgement they would give after a month?

Yes, it takes them the same amount of time to accept it as it takes them to send it back as they only start reviewing it after about a month. No one will even look at it before that

I called the CIC and they confirmed the transaction was approved. However, my TD visa card insist that they did not see the transaction. I am totally confused.

Shall I wait for a few days or shall I call CIC again? How long does it take for the CIC sydney transaction show up in ur credit card bill?

I submitted my application on February 14 and was received by CIO NS on February 17. And today I just received my AOR and Medical request.
