Going by the recent developments from CIC, I am tempted to believe that expecting DM before PPR may be an obsolete practice now. Seems like now the moment the processing officer decides positively on a case he shoots the PPR email right away without the usual ceremonial DM status first (which frankly has no tangible benefit to an applicant). PPR email is the deal!!!

you are right.. it doesnt really matter DM or PPR unless they want Passport to be sent to them applicant is happy ..

Fellows.....just to confirm.....has any Feb applicant recently received any email reply on their application status query since turning IP?
I sent one nearly a month ago to both Ottawa and Sydney offices (just to psych them)... but till date, not even a generic reply from both offices.

Well i have no clue how cic works :. Im still waiting for IP even after sending all documents they requested and its been more than 2 months they received those. I know all we can do is wait but it suc to ok with same employer this long.. smh I think persons working with cic are also getting tired of their job ;D

I havent got anything as of yet only IP since September 8th .. My guess ll be whatever DM or PPR ll be arriving December

my file was in process from 18th august ............. and still waiting

what u think bro .. i already booked my tickets to india on 7th dec ,,,, do u think up to that time i will cross border and will be able to finish the all works of PR ...
