February 2014 Applicants

Hi experts
may I know if someone know how to change or update email address from cic? I am also a Feb applicant but my email address won't be able to use anymore (plz skip asking why
I also have a PNP application later than my cec application. I had medical done already.

My question is:
1. How to update or change email address
2, will cic automatically use the contacts in my later application (PNP, I hope so so as it has correct information.)
3, will Cic use my post mail address instead if they can't get the email notice delivered?

Hello Friends,

Got an Email from CIC requesting additional documents:
- T4 for 2013
-NOA for 2013

Below are some questions:
1. Is it OK to attach the documents and send them via reply email with all essential information.
2. If I need to mail them, Do I need to send them the originals.
3. Is this a good sign to get a request from CIC?

I am a newbie here, so any help is much appreciated.

Scan both of your requested documents in one pdf file and email the same. There is no need to mail the documents unless they are PCC or marriage questionnaire.

It is a good sign in sense that CIC working on your file. Good luck mate.

Arsa, make sure you hide your SIN # in both the documents before you scan it ;D

Hi john123ui,

I have not submitted it with the original application, maybe that's why they are asking it now! I had not filed my taxes for 2013 when I submitted my application back in February. If they ask for T4 and NOA for 2013, have them handy and send them the digital copies. I will update what happened if I hear back from CIC.

I have filed my PR application on February and waiting for my medicals like you guys Meanwhile I have applied for Open Work Permit and found a new job offer in a canadian company, I have signed the hard copy of offer letter and sent back to my future employer. Now because of some reasons I do not want to join this employer and wants to join another employer.

Now my doubt is that, since I am not going to join the first company, do they have any rights to take any legal action on me.

This is not the right forum to ask legal questions regarding the contracts. NO one knows what was in the contract that you signed.

Well it depends upon what was included in the contract that you signed. I agree with hondaFan13 as this forum is related to immigration and not job contracts.

I just received my police clearance for a country I had lived in for more than 6 months as well as my NOA. I applied in Feb and recived my AOR March 17. Should I wait for them to ask me for addition documents before sending them these or should I just send it to them anyway?

I would suggest sending them in. Atleast they would attach them to your file and this would not stop the processing. Make sure when you send them in, follow the proper format and include all the necessary pieces of info.
