Hi,

My application was received on Feb 18 and March 10th my credit card was debited by $550. However the application status on their website still says application received. The status should have been changed to the next level? I am really confused and scared. Can someone help me to find out when does the status on their website changes once they deduct the amount?

Please help guys !!

This is the initial stage it means your application has been received at CPC Ottawa. There is nothing to worry about you are good so chill and have some popcorns

No, there's no way of checking the application status before receiving the AOR.

It is always good to be optimist

Last Dec, AOR was expected 47 days and later adjusted as 52 days.
Also, spread sheet was listed more than 70 people.
Now it seems to be applicants reduced and it brought AOR days earlier.
Even 21 days!
Is that means in Nov and Dec applicants bottle necked and made some heavy traffic jam?
However I would complain for 21days. :D

My CC debited under account Citizenship & IMM FSW1, but I filed under CEC. Weird isn't ?

Yes, it's weird but most of the CEC aplicants have it like that.

I have a quick question. My status on ECAS still shows this:" Application received on Feb 6". Should it be updated after I received my AOR?

I received my AOR on March 5. Its been 11 days since I received it.

That's all you get. It basicly says that your application was received in CPC-O. Next change in your ECAS will be "Start processing your application", wich will not be very soon (couple of days before you get MR).
