Just finished doing a visitor extension application. Probably be about fifty days, so as of November 14 I will have implied status until a decision is made. That takes some pressure off, temporarily at least.

Hi guys!

Ok so my husband was asked to redo his meds which he did and they got them today (according to the courrier service tracking). They were sent in France.

His file switched to "in process" Since they requested for the meds. Any idea how long it will take to hear from them?

Hi Daisy5

Paris VO the fastest VO anywhere. Our February members with Paris finished and have already landed in less than 5 months total. So yes expect an answer from them soon

Hi All!

Just to update you all to let you know, my girlfriend received her COPR and has now landed, got her SIN number and is currently awaiting to receive her PR Card in the mail - 6-8 Week wait.

We crossed the border on September 27th for her to land as PR. - if you could update me on the sheet for others to get an idea of the timeline. - pretty much took us a 7 months and a week from start to finish, including crossing the border to activate the PR. - Under par for what London VO is providing timeframe for, of 9 months! :o - cannot complain at all!

Thank you all for your help/support/guidance.

Profile has been updated with dates. - Cheers! ;D

Hi!!

Anyone have any idea how long after they get meds ( that they requested for) do they get back to you?

Hmmm e-cas update that says "we started processing your application on October 24, 2013", hope that's a good sign.

Or maybe not.......

Received a letter today that they are withdrawing our application in 45 days if they don't receive a Singapore police clearance. The same one we applied for in August and the Singapore COC said they mailed out a month ago.

This process...... >:(

Awwww. I thought it's all sorted out already.
So would you be able to just follow up if they actually get it? I'm pretty sure you won't need to get a new one.

I'm trying to follow up right now and see what's going on. The Singapore clearances are a real pain.

You can't request a clearance without a letter from the Embassy so we weren't able to request it until August. After that we had to send copies of the passport 3 times as they kept losing the paperwork. Finally they said they emailed it out at the beginning of the month to our residential address in Manila which we haven't received yet. Unfortunately this doesn't really make sense as they are supposed to email it directly to the embassy and not us (says this on the singapore site and the CIC site).

At this point I can't get a response from them where they mailed it. I've requested them to resend it, to send it to the embassy directly or let me give them my credit card so I can pay for a courier but nothing so far. I've also sent emails to the Canadian embassy but no replies except the letter saying send it within 45 days or the application will be withdrawn.
