hi Messenger,
Sorry i forget, Sponsor aprroval : jan 23, 2013
I wanna ask, are they start to process my application at singapore visa office? or they just only received the application and not process yet?

Hi HIFAN

Sorry not familiar about Singapore methods of sending 2nd stage AOR's. Most likely your apps are there by now (I am pretty sure) and they are processing them.
Why don't you contact them. I know we have other Singapore applicants here they can give you some ideas

Regards

Sounds like a good plan but volunteering is not ok on visitor visa haha as stupid as that sounds like!! :(
That does sound stupid! But I don't technically have a visitor visa, I am from the USA so can come and go freely for 6 months. I spoke with my son's new school and as long as I show proof that we paid RPRF I can enroll him as a PR. (If we didn't have that it would have cost us $12,200 CD to enroll him!!) Anyway, I am hoping since they are treating him as a PR that they will do the same for me......maybe it is wishful thinking!! If not, I will figure something else out. I just know I can't sit at home all day, every day. lol

Singapore sends Stage 2 AOR... usually via email. Singapore has a long wait time ... time to be patient :)

What is 2 AOR?? Yeah it's 26 month to wait.... :(

Stage 2 AOR is actually the confirmation from your VO in Singapore that they received your package from CPC-M

Hi all,

I am happy to announce my wife got her PPR from New Delhi VO today (04-18-2013). Seems like things are going smoothly, 1 month for SA in Canada and 23 days for PPR. For all those waiting for PPR from New Delhi VO, hang in there as tommorow is a public holiday.

Wont be long now, exciting times ahead :)
Please update me in the file.

Hey members,

Really happy on my wife's AOR passport request today Apr-18.

One question.
We had submitted only 12 picts all together for marriage ,reception and honeymoon at the time of initial application. Also we didnt write anything behind the picture at the time of initial application.
After reading forums , I realized its better to send more picts as it may add values to the file.

Is it a good idea to add more pictures when sending the passport via courier to NDVO?
Should i say in the cover letter any reason for adding more picts?

Appreciate your response.

Since you will be sending your passport, it might be a good idea to send more pictures and proofs. Make sure that you explain in your letter why you are sending more pictures, and how they illustrate your relationship, and ask them kindly to add it to your file. they might not need them, but it won't hurt your file, so you might as well add them!
Good luck,

Volunteering is sometimes OK actually... it depends on what you do. If you're volunteering every day, in the same place, in a place where they would hire somebody if you were not volunteering, then it's NOT ok, as it's a disguise for work - and CIC might suspect that you are getting paid on the side. CIC will also consider that you're taking work away from people that are legally entitled to work.
however, if you volunteer once a week, for example, in a place where it's obviously not considered work, then it's OK on a visitor visa.
