Hi Sweden, just a Q.
Have you heard anyone who had their medicals expired while waiting for the visa process? My husband did his medical last August, and I believe it is only good for a year.
medicals are only valid for one year, and if you have done them in August, they might expire before your visa is issued.
If when the VO is about to take a decision, the only thing preventing them from issuing the PR is the fact that medicals have expired, and they have been done in the last 15 months, then they can request an extension of the medicals. If your medicals are older than that OR there is something else missing ( or not assessed yet) when the medicals expire, then they will send you a request to re-do medicals - but no point in doing them in advance, it's best to wait for them to ask.

That's true! I'm getting more inspired now
By the way, have you heard from anyone that together with the AOR they will give you an option to send additional docs that you want to put in with the application?
We have a specific country requirement that I want to send them, altho people said it wasn't much of a big deal as others did not provide it too but were requested of it just during PPR with the passport.
if it's a document that is more for the applicant, then wait until you are approved and file transferred to your VO. Then send them the additional documents with your file number, UCI etc so they have everything together when they open your application.
If it's something more for the sponsor, you can send it to Mississauga if you have had an AOR and you have your file number etc. But if it's not necessary then wait until the file is transferred.
