You can order your notes at:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-personal.asp

Takes about 30 days to receive it. The notes would help in the sense that you would know what's going on with your case. If a review is required by another officer, if you job duties don't match your NOC etc...hope this helps.

lol.. honestly..ordering GCMS notes adds to my current distress..cos im unaware y this is taking long .. once i get my gcms notes it might make my unaware feeling more concrete and if its negative then im doomed ...
Does anyone know if one can apply for an extension of the bridging open work permit?
My BOWP expires end of May 2014 and if by then I dont hear anything (say worst case scenario) then I need a backup plan.

I know what you mean with regards to finding out what's in your GCMS notes. But its better to get a sense of what's going on and try to figure out the next step rather than just having to wait forever. The BOWP can be extended. I'm positive you will hear from CIC before May, but just in case, you can apply upto 30 days before current BOWP expiry for a renewal.

Thanks Wessless .. I think i'll go with the GCMS option and see what exactly is going on.

it's better to find the problem early and fix it then wait until it's out of control and be rejected. do it !!!

No worries. Just go for it!! Bad or good news...its still the news you will have to wait to hear. So don't stress over what will be in your GCMS notes.

Ok i submitted the GCMS notes request. In the attach additional docs (optional) section was it mandatory for me to attach anything or just continue without it?

Unless you have a spouse, and need to attach a consent form, you can continue without attaching anything.

Hey the consent form is IMM 5744. Based on threads I've read before, sometimes the notes will be released for both principal applicant and spouse without the consent form uploaded. You will receive all the notes for yourself, with regards to your spouse, you may or may not receive all her details. If you want to be on the safe side, just fill the consent form and submit another request. Maybe you can email ATIP and ask to cancel your first request. Hope this helps.

Winterfox,

On the application site, it says it is recommended you add a consent form for each individual on your file over the age of 18. Just download the form from the link, have it signed to give you consent, and attach. There have been some applicants that have had the spouse's info blacked out when they haven't added the consent.

how to apply gcms notes?

Friends,

I completed my landing yesterday at Peace Bridge. (For timeline, please look at my profile or the Feb 2013 Tracker)

I didn't had a US Visa. I took a U turn and followed the exact instructions mentioned on the below thread.
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/my-landing-experience-at-peace-bridge-fort-erie-t152323.0.html

I thank you for all your wonderful support through out my journey for PR.

I wish all the best for others who are waiting.
