Hi all,

My WP was renewed in July this year after which I did not apply for TRV as I was not planning to travel outside of Canada. Do we require to have TRV to do landing? Should I get the TRV done before I receive passport request? Anyone with similar experience kindly respond. Thanks

no problemo... always here to help :D

Adding to RUS's comment:

The Passport request is for the stamping of Permanent Residence Visa. The PR visa is a single entry visa i.e you use that visa only once to become a permanent resident !

Thanks for the update EDS,

My main doubt was:

1. If or when my passport is requested by CIC for PR visa stamping, will it be an issue if I do not have a TRV in my passport as a result of acquiring a new WP this year?

If the above is not an issue and I receive the passport with the PR visa stamped, I guess that is good for landing.

Not having TRV is not an issue. WP lets you stay in Canada and work. TRV was only required for your entry to Canada.

*Warning: Dumb Question* :P

For those of you who have emailed back your Bio-data forms, did you fill out the height in cm, or feet and inches?

I wrote in CM.
