February 2013 Applications!!!

I received my GCMS notes today and they are exactly what I was expecting. Everything is "Not Started" except Criminality which is "In Progress". They had been processed on 19/09/2013.

hi, any news from feb 2013 applicants? my friend applied in march 2013 & she already received her medical request today. I checked the march 2013 applicants' forum and 3 of them posted that they got medical request today. just wondering why theirs are being processed before us ???

3131. same as mine. but when i checked my status online, it hasn't even changed from application received. not even in process yet. how about your application? i dont know if i should be worried or not :'(

No, no....come now! Don't despair friend. Updates to ecas depend on VO's habits. Sometimes its on time, while other times its well after the entire application has concluded. And you need to consider that every application is different, so just because ur friend got theirs doesn't mean a thing for yours. Also, your friend is probably with one VO, while you are with another. VO's have different grades (authorities) and processing speeds. Just relax and ride out the wait.

That's what I'm trying to do (file hasn't moved either)! Just a started a new job, which is perfect...so I don't have to think about this! 8)

When does your existing work permit expire? Prior to request, did ECAS show application received or in process?

ECAS shows "We started processing your application on October 7, 2013". My work permit didn't expire. It was up to May 2014. I came back to India to join a good job.

Wow! This has to be the most MRs I've seen in a single day on this forum. Congrats to everyone that has received MRs. It only makes sense that the In-process apps would get MRs quickly, since their eligibility had already been assessed, and the VO just needed to get to the files. I hope those of us with app-received statuses will also see some good news soon.
