Also, I am not sure about how they handle things when they make a document request and you miss their deadline. I see someone else on another forum has had a request for documents and sent them in and the documents have somehow become lost. That person received a notice saying that they have not received the documents but I am not sure what happens from there and whether there's a chance to resolve things. I will let you know what happens if that user makes another post since this info is clearly relevant to you. But they definitely don't immediately dump your application back in your hands. I can say that even from personal experience, as I too missed a medical deadline without my application being terminated.

I dunno, but she could have been in Canada 1 month ago. And now we realize we're not getting their e-mails. How can I not be fucking pissed?? And the MPA said she's gonna fucking check again in December. WTF!? I need her to check every fucking week to see if they sent the e-mail, but she won't fucking budge. How can I not feel caged and constricted? This is fucking utter bullshit.

I don't know what the PPR deadline is. Most deadlines seem to be 60 days from my visa office, but I've had a 60 day and a 90 day deadline in connection with my medical things. The 90 day deadline was for specific medical testing that would take longer than 60 days.

What happens after a deadline passes, I do not know for sure. As mentioned, I saw another person elsewhere say they received a notice stating that the visa office hadn't received the documents requested from them. I'll let you know if they say anything more about what happens next.

In my case, I was 2-3 weeks late in submitting some additional medical stuff. I can see in my GCMS notes that the visa officer did wonder whether the stuff had been received, since he started my processing the rest of my application after the deadline had passed, and he emailed the medical department to check. Fortunately the info had been received by that point, even though it was late, so the medical dept informed him of this, nothing further happened about the missed deadline and the application kept moving. I presume I would have received a similar notice if they hadn't received that medical stuff by that point, and indeed I can see that an outgoing letter was generated and then cancelled in my GCMS notes, so perhaps I was about to receive that same letter telling me about the missed deadline. I got lucky I suppose. But the visa officer certainly wasn't automatically tossing my application due to the missed deadline.

Well that means we missed the deadline by 2 weeks. 2 weeks is a long time for a missed deadline.
So basically this will cause FURTHER delays. And since her medical expired, this will cause EVEN MORE fucking delays.
That's why they sent it Aug. 14, because she could have been in Canada by now, when her medical was far from being expired.

The deadline for a PPR from Manila VO is 40 days.
We are way past that deadline. We're fucked.

We were finally asked for the passport now! They wanted it within 10 days of recieveing the email. We were previously granted a visitors visa.
They said once the visa is issued they must leave by January 29, 2013.
