I got the letter from CIC already approving me as a sponsor, so you think it should be just a few more months until my husband gets the call from Havana?

When did you get approval? I bet you will be done in less than 5 months no problem.

My E-cas status just shows "application received in January 2012 for Permanent Residence " and i was requested Passport along with medicals and PCC in Feb 2012 but the status has not changed for the past 3 months does that mean they have not started processing my file yet ?

I received the email on May 7 and now I can go online and check our status and it says:

We received *******'s application for permanent residence on February 2, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

ME TOO! I am dying in anticipation, and my husband is bored out of his mind waiting in Cuba. He had to quit his job when he applied for his passport.

they only sent an email to submit PP,PCC and Medical

I thought you had to send the medical with your app or your file would be returned...?
