CIC update May 2: working on Feb 1, 89 days

I don't think the time posted on the CIC website is accurate...ever. I think it's all chance. I read that CIC received someones application on February 13 and that person was approved. There is really no telling...perhaps they post the times for the laziest and slowest VOs?

It's not cause for concern...but if it stays there for 6 weeks like it did before...well...that sucks...but they will eventually get everything finished...

Everyone should expect to get approval within 4 months after CIC received the app. Don't think it will happen sooner because chances are you'll just be disappointed which will prolong the agony of waiting!

i am also a february applicant. I am from the Philippines and my husband is sponsoring me to canada. He submitted the application last feb. 3, 2012 and he believes that the cic-m received it on feb, 8, 2012 since it was a registered mail..it's been 3 months now yet we don't have any update regarding the application. i thought cic-m will send out an AOR once they have received the application?why is it then that we did not receive any. even E-cas is not giving us any update..
any information from you guys is highly appreciated..God bless us all!

I'm starting to think they have a schedule to send out e-mails once a week...everyweek its always one specific day where everyone gets approved from Mississauga!
