They gave me 30 days to send in the PPs and in the mail it said the visa will be valid until 30.05 (don't know why that date)

With the new med exam system they will send you an email requesting it with an attached form which you have to forward to the doctor's office, call, make an appointment and have the money ready

Yasmine Grl when they indicated 30.5 - is this mean May 30th of nxt year? If that is the case, well at least they are giving people enough time (I guess) to sort things out before the big move.

Redo the medical - I don't also understand, they should ask me to do the medical when I was requesting for the RCMP certificate. I bet you, now they will receive the RCMP cert this Monday and nxt thing you know they will ask for a new medical (redo). The time keeps extending and extending. (mine you they have not ask yet but I know they will ask soon).

Chickie- $ or £ will always be part of the process but sometimes I think its a bit much, we are not rich. I guess no choice eh?

Hey guys, I just remembered I think they will also ask again for police clearance as the one sent to VO office in London I believe has expired. I did not think it will take this dam long so all the documents sent like the UK police clearance and medical will have to be re-done. OH HECK!!!! :'(

yeah they asked us to redo our police certificate in September but nothing about the medical yet

As far as I can see from your timeline, your medical is still within the time limit. If you check my time line, you can see that the medical was sent Jan 2012 and its now Oct 2013, its more than 1 year nearly 2 years. I guess it was my fault. Got to pay more now, got to save more money for police check and medical. The medical bit is quite expensive.

yes they are expensive which is why i hope they extend ours because it is hubby and two children so more of an expense grrrrrr Can you just go ahead and redo them yourself or do you have to wait for the VO to tell you?

I will wait and let the VO tell me to redo them. You never know, just in case they extended them (ya right ) (only in my dreams). Ya I will wait.

Oh guess what, the royal mail made a bo bo. I paid a special delivery fee for the RCMP certificate to be delivered before 1pm on Monday, what they did - they delivered my special letter around 8:20am and said that my letter will be returning to the depot because they tried to delivered it and no access. I called royal mail and said, "why are you trying to delivered a letter to an office (Canadian High Commission office) around that time? I told them that the offices don't open til 9am. I was not pleased at all. They apologised and recognised that they made a mistake. Now guess what, the earliest they can deliver my important letter is now Wednesday before 1pm.

I am now calm and thought, it happened for purpose don't know what the purpose is but it happened. I will leave this with God.

So Wednesday it is.

Grrrr on the mixup......incompetance kills me, i tell ya

I am good, just holding the faith. Hubbys bring forward date from the ARC was yesterday so i am hoping we hear something like PPR this week (wishful thinking, i think) , my notes come back in 8 days so hoping something new is in them also......it is all just a waiting game and we have no idea what is going on until they tell us.......funny how they have such control of our lives eh!

At the moment, they have control but this control cannot be forever, one day in the near future, we will have the control back just like the rest of the people in this forum who finally got their wish.

Update: just check the mail tracking regarding my important letter. It says that it was delivered this am. Crossing my fingers and toes for you (getting that PPR) and me (hoping everything's ok).

Can you imagine - the best Christmas present ever! Even if they ask to redo the medical and redo the police certificate, I will have to sort it out ASAP.

everything has to happen in the next month for them to be able to come home for xmas
