I cann't imagine the life of lovers depend on some VO agent! It really sickens me!!!TVG said:Hi everyone! I haven't posted here in a while.. just wanted to inform you that my husband was called up for an interview on October 16th. It is very nerve racking until we hear that he passes it, even though our relationship is completely genuine... I can't help but be doubtful. We didn't expect an interview perhaps that's why. Can anyone inform me as to what they look for?
Anyway we need all the luck in the world and good luck to you all as well.
Lack of financial interdependence between the couple. ......this bothers me....esp these days, should not be an issue. Every person works these days.Dr Eng X said:I cann't imagine the life of lovers depend on some VO agent! It really sickens me!!!
Interview is usually to check marriage genuineness. The red flags are typically:
Different social status/culture/origin/religion/country,
previous relationships or divorce on either side,
lack of compatibility,
significant age gap especially on the wife side,
short per-marriage courtship especially if your marriage is not family-arranged,
lack of marriage publicity (e.g. did not do marriage ceremony/wedding or your marriage ceremony/wedding was not attended by your close family members),
sparse photos.
lack of continuation of contact
lack of financial interdependence between the couple
Hastened marriage
lack of cohabitation or marriage consummation.
I agree ... I believe the agreement signed by the sponsor should be very enoughLily_TV said:Lack of financial interdependence between the couple. ......this bothers me....esp these days, should not be an issue. Every person works these days.
I agree. How about if they come from different countries? Why having different nationalities etc should be a red flag, especially in this day and age? This one also bugs me.Lily_TV said:Lack of financial interdependence between the couple. ......this bothers me....esp these days, should not be an issue. Every person works these days.

that's exactly what my husband said.. "I can't believe our life depends on some VO agent that if he feels like it he can tell us no". I am so stressed, I cant think straight and what's even worse I have midterm exams at university all this month. I definitely cannot focus on that. What bothers me even more.. is that our case is very straight forward, none of us had previous marriages, or kids, no criminal records, we both work and go to school, we sent over 90 pictures of our relationship, same religion, same background, are from the same country even same city, he is one year older than me, everytime I visit him I live at his house... I DO NOT SEE what the "red flags" are for.Dr Eng X said:I cann't imagine the life of lovers depend on some VO agent! It really sickens me!!!

I'll be brief and say This is how I feel! when I see people have already landed...I am happy for them but I am mad at CIC...why some countries have no processing times while others wait!!!TVG said:that's exactly what my husband said.. Hey KJG, bummer I wish you'd received it yesterday. The file I received was around 3.5MB, so the cost won't be huge (I don't know the roaming charges for Cuba though, you might want to check on that with your provider)KJG said:Hey BCgirl2012....not gcms notes yesterday... will have to incur roaming charges will abroad....should definitely have by Monday....I hope!!!
I have not received mine yet although I ordered it August 28...just like the rest of CIC...!!KJG said:Hey BCgirl2012....not gcms notes yesterday... will have to incur roaming charges will abroad....should definitely have by Monday....I hope!!!

30 days is from the day they receive it. Did they receive it on the 28th? I've heard that people who have emailed the forms in receive them consistently on the 30th day, but you'll never know. I hope you receive yours on Monday.Dr Eng X said:mail in originals!
