yippeee.....the call finally came from Havana today!!! they called my husband and told him to come for an interview Oct 1/12....of course that is the one day that I told him I could not come....which of course he totally forgot about until he was texting me.....anyway he will call tomorrow and change the date but movement!!! so excited......

no I don't have to be there...but my husband and I discussed this awhile ago and he would like me there so I said done...I will be there....and since I am such a control freak and since everything has been out of my hands for 6 months more or less this at least gives me something to do and be a part of and since I want to celebrate with him when they say "yes" off to Cuba I go....when he changes the date!!! LOL.....can't believe the one day I told him I could not make they give him and him being so excited never thought about it!!!

.....it's not the visa that will take so long...its the PRE..possibly....some people it takes months and others just a few weeks....anyway just to be able to have a date and something to go by is absolutely fantastic!!! so it's back to gathering more evidence in case they ask for it and juggling the bank account!!! LOL

it's Cuba specific and it is an exit permit that allows him to live abroad but travel back and forth to cuba at anytime and also allows him to keep his cuban property....basically a $550 money grab.....!!!

no...they aren't allowed to apply until they have their visa in hand....
