Ummm ya the E-Cas was activated on the 6th Feb !!

Ok my application arrived at CIC on Feb 8th according to the FedEx records which means I assuming that my file should have activity on it very soon. Just to be clear in order to check I go to;

Plus in MY details (Sponsor) and I can use the Rxxxxxxxxx number from my official receipt or is there a better ID choice to check on?

Thanks I figure I should check it before I leave on the off chance its up and running as I saw someone mention they had their app received on the 7th of Feb and their file is active.

Yep, that's where you go to check, and you use the Sponsor's details and the receipt number.

I'm new to this box. My application was received on 16 Feb. Can anyone tell me little more about the online-checking? I don't know what information I can use to fill in the Identification-type box.
I sent the fees online. I have no official receipt number, nor ID number. So, what information I should use to check my status?

How did you "send" the fees, do you mean that you paid them at the CIC site?

My application was rcvd by Feb 3rd but I got a response on March 1st that the sponsorship approved and they have transfered the application to Buffalo. Although on CIC website it says that they are working in files rcvd by Jan 31st but thats not accurate I believe. Today, wed. they will again update the timeline and hopefully people from the 2nd week of Feb. should start hearing soon, good luck today to all.

I never believe the number on the processing times.

It is good that your application took so little time for the first phase.

Go to this website and choose Family class sponsorship. You should be able to see the updated time line then. Hopefully this works.
