So excited for you - I love to see that London is moving a bit! We're only a few days behind you so I hope logic dictates that it won't be too much longer for us either...(but we all know, logic has no place in this process!)

You'll be fine - but how mean to tell you they've made a decision but not what it is! Meanies! :D

OMG OMG!! Just thought I'd give Ecas a quick check and it's been updated.....

We received your application for permanent residence on March 9, 2011.

We started processing your application on May 13, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Not heard anything.....EEEEK....I feel a little bit ill. Is there a possibility it could be bad news?? :( I wish they'd just post what the decision was!!

congrats cattadams! you're almost there! :) happy happy for you! :-*

Hope everyone gets news soon!!

Thank you :) Now I just have to wait to find out what the decision is!

I showed my mum the ecas update and I thought she was going to pass out haha She said she felt sick! I told her I felt the same :D I have asked her not to tell anyone though until I have been told yay or nay!! ??? Will be telling my dad and brother too.

This may sound bad, but I'm not even telling my husband until I know what the decision is. He hasn't been dealing well at all with me being away and I want some definite news rather than still more 'unsure' before I tell him.

June 4th is my birthday, so hopefully will get PPR as an early present! :D

PS....just had a sneaky look at flights!! :P When did the prices become so crazy!! I guess that's what you get for planning to go back in the summer!!!

Congrats, and I have a good feeling its a positive change, they won't refuse any application without interview, and from experience I've seen Decision Made on eCAS being very positive :)

I will definitely let you all know when I hear something. Also got the email through from ecas tracker - so that's working fine...just a couple of hours behind when I saw it on ecas myself.

I was looking at flights for around July 15th!! One way is pretty much the same as a return!! GBP650!! ICK!

Oh well, it'll be worth it!! ;D

If they were less than 3 months old when received at CPC-M, then FBI and other police reports are held valid for a year from the date they were issued. The 3 months' rule only applies to when they are received at CPC-M, NOT the entire process.

Hi! There seems to be some maybe unexpected developments with our application. Not sure how it works with us having the extra Quebec step which most of you guys don't have.

Application sent : February 14th
Application returned to us: March 15th (Officers mistake, not ours)
Application returned to Mississauga: May 1st (Delay due to having to get a new police certificate)
Sponsorship approved: May 4th

Quebec papers filed: May 13th (They say to expect it to take 20 days for an answer)

I checked the ECAS today and see the following under the heading 'Permanent Residence Application Status'(all the previous information is under Sponsorship Application Status in ECAS):

"We received XXXX XXXX's application for permanent residence on May 12, 2011.
Medical results have been received."

So is the application in London now? My medical forms were sent to the london office so I assume so. I had assumed the application itself would not move until the Quebec section was approved but maybe there is some movement while they wait for that answer.

Congratulations to CATTADAMS! I'm sure it's a positive answer!

Crillz, that's excellent! I hope things move swiftly for you guys, you certainly had a major delay due to no fault of your own. Hopefully the CSQ comes through in good time! Good luck :)

Hello,

I also applied through London, to Quebec. In my case, 2 weeks after my files reached MICC, London sent me an email to remind that I should forward them a copy of my CQS. 3 weeks later, I received my CQS, in which they noted that they also sent another copy to London. So, I didnt do anything till recently I emailed London and asked about this. The answer was: NOT YET!!! That's amazing. anyway, I finally forwarded the CQS to them, but not sure they got it or not. As you know, when you email them, it takes weeks for a response!
