anyone know the date cic is now working on application? mine shows february 22, its been like that since i opened it 3 days ago.. how many days it usually moves? thanks for anyone who will reply! ;D

Hey Dorsiana, they usually update it every wednesday afternoon..just once I saw it getting updated on a Tuesday.

u did...!!! tell me something...is it really true tha CIC Call cntr in Missisauga really don't hv any info when the file is sent out of Canada!

It is absolutely true! weird eh? we had access to ALL the information with any IMM app done WITHIN Canada but once it leaves Canada to an int'l VO then the info in the system is VERY limited. Generally just the basics ;D Thats why if I call the Call Centre I don't press for certain things as I know the info isn't there....there have been times I've even told the agent to enter certain codes and info in order to access the correct information- of course letting them know I worked their job previously so they didn't think I was nuts.

So if anyone gets very limited info from the C. centre don't be surprised and don't think the agent is full of it After the file leaves Canada its pretty much in the visa offices hands...

but i don't get why the call centre has no access to our files once its leaves mississauga.. isn't the VO still canadian ( but on international soil?)

none the less this is surely a patience testing game!

I am currently in Toronto visiting for a week with an outbound application...btw I told the officer I said I was visiting, then he asked who I said family, then he asked who I said wife. Then he asked who was moving where. I said me to Canada with outbound application. He asked where I work I said United states and just visiting for a week vacation and he let me through no secondary inspection.

Anyways I came here to say my tracker notified me that my medical results were received....I guess things are moving forward!

Dear All

Thanks for all the support and guidance, I applied for my infant son's Permanent Residence

Time Lines are as follows:

CPC Application; 20January 2011
CPC Approved Sponsorship:25th February 2011
File transferred; 8th March 2011 to New Delhi
Letter from CHC, New delhi requesting passport dated 16th March 2011 received 26th March 2011.
My family in India will post the Passport tomorrow first thing in the morning IST

Please advice the timelines from now.

For all those who are waiting to hear from CHC, keep the faith and my best wishes to all and a Big thanks
