Yes, our visa office is in Moscow, and we are from Samara, the fifth big town if sort by population.

I too dont know why they r not able to take money 4m credit card, this time we sent dd , once after encashing only they will b looking in to the file.....

It's time to gather documents while waiting for CIO reply. While February people are updating there dates in the thread, Shall we all share what are the documents we need to gather for the next stage?

can you people come up with a list please ? I hope this would be benificial for us all.

yes it's a time to discuses about next stage which documents how to gather them.i think 1st things to see the checklist from here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5610E.PDF
in my part the most difficult things to obtain the original transcript which should be sealed with university envelop. because i have graduated 20 years ago in Ukraine(EX-USSR). i tried to communicate with them God help .

Dear seniors
I am paying the fees by demand draft.The DD in made from my mother in laws bank account.
so in Name of payer and address of payer should I write the name and address of my mother in law.

Also there is no option for DD details such as dd no drawn bank etc so should I write my name on the back of the Demand draft.

Seniors please guide as I want to courier the forms to CIO by two days.

Thanks! Me too, but after 89 days! This is all because of regular post - our letter was in flight from 13 January to 10 February!

Samara is in Russia, it's a big town on the river Volga, the "Main Russian Street"!

Have you been in Kiev? Great town, very beautiful

I too sent my application Feb 10, by registered post - Not sure when CIO is going to get it. Does it take around 1 month for a regular post to reach Canada - Awsom -
I have no way of tracking my post any way !!!

Hi gasheforpeace,

the check list for CHC that you have provided is from the CIC web site. I saw some where in CIC web site, where they had given a link to local visa offices (in my case colombo) to refer for the docs required in the second stage.

Can you people shed some light on this matter on where to get the check list for the second submission.

Identity and Civil Documents

3.Marriage Certificate
4.Birth Certificate of Kids




the document says , We should not submit originals but should submit notorized photo copies and also any doc which is not in Englis should be translated.

Do we need to translate and then photocopy it and notorize it?

please share your knowlege. I will update this list with your comments for every one's benefit.

I also apply on 14th feb 2010 & my case filed with nova scotia on 19th feb 2010. So my counting bgan now I am arrranging my documents .
