I am now done as of Dec 3rd.

I took my oath along with 100 other applicants in The Art Gallery.

I also saw this: Before they asked us to stand for the oath, an applicant had a very fussy child and had to leave temporarily to quiet the child down. She was still not at her seat when the oath was taken (she may have taken it in the back of the venue), but, unlike the stories here in this forum before the change of government (like not receiving the certificate because of a bathroom break, etc), she was allowed to receive her certificate(and her child's too).

So, maybe there is a light going forward, and no more fear in the process.

That is good for so many going forward.

Thanks to all :)
as long as they have an officer who can verify that you swore your allegiance you'll be fine no matter where you are. Obviously, not many can take outside the hall since there're only about 2 officers on duty

Finally before Christmas !

Aug 17 test, received RQ questionnaire early Oct, submitted RQ Nov 07, decision made middle Nov.

Received OATH invitation today, Jan 08 ceremony in Vancouver.

Finally ! Thanks to everyone here !

Hello everyone,

Not been here for a while. Not been checking ecas as well. I have kind off given up waiting.

Nothing has happened. My file was transferred to LO in August, that was according to ATIP report (not on ecas). We are in December. Not even done test. Discover Canada book is collecting dust. Majority of you have completed your journey.

I am sure I am not the only one. Please, someone give me that assurance.

Thank you.

Hi all,
My application has been sitting as in-process status since Jun. 6 and no update have been made since. Although I'm sure some people are still in the same situation, I am starting to get worried and impatient.
Let's hope things will move quickly soon.
All the best!

@phathalo @Androse

We're sort of in the same boat. I applied on the 5th January, and my application is still in process. No sign of the test or anything that says my application is non-routine. It won't be too long before I officially complete a year without doing the test. Are you also from Downtown Toronto? There are quite a few people who face the same situation.

Hi tds69us,

Did you order the ATIP report? My application is still in process but the report states that file has been transferred to Scarborough. I think I should order the report again for the latest update.

Thank you.

Thank you.

I ordered one two months ago and it was useless. I guess we have to wait till March 31st because that's when we have the right to complain.
