has anyone ever travelled beween applying for citizenship to test/interview day? Do you have to translate the stamps if not in english for those travel dates even though they were not a part of the citizenship application? i have my test on Nov 13th, and i just realisefd i have travlled and i possiblity need the stamps translated.

Yes you have to translate the stamps. I have a friend who traveled after applying and in the interview the offic r asked her about the translation of the new stamps in the passport. They compare the old copy of the translation to the passport itself.

does that mean i have to get the whole passport translated again? or just those stamps

She translated the two new stamps only.she took it with her to the interview plus a copy she had of old translation if you don't have it only take the two new stamps translation

Translating stamps depends on how much you traveled to a country whose stamps are not in English. In my case I had one trip to UAE to visit parents in 2011 the entry and exit was marked in arabic so I spent time translating them and took it with me for interview but officer never bothered asking for them, given I went only once guess the stamps were sufficient to prove the entry and exit as she cross checked it against my declared absences.

Congrats. I got my OATH letter today to take OATH on 13th Nov at Scarborough. Best of luck to all others.

I passed the citizenship test earlier today (18/20) :) the CO interviewed me and at the end informed me that I should expect the oath any time between a month and three months ... she also said that November is fully booked, so could be scheduled for December or January, fingers crossed :D

FYI .. I brought all originals of the documents submitted with my citizenship application but she only asked me for the IDs (PR, Health Card and Drivers' License), passports and the landing document. No T4s, pay stubs, or NOAs were requested to present today
