5. We sent you a notice on October 22, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on November 12, 2015 at 7:45 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us

What documents should I bring with me on the day of the test? I have sent my passport to be renewed and most likely will not be back on the day of the test, should I be concerned?

I received a document checklist with the letter for test invite. PR-Card, Health Card, Landing Paper, Driving license and travel documents (all passports in my possession). I mo not sure what the rules say if you have your passport submitted for renewal...

well it depends on case officer if u have receipt to show that u submitted your passport for renewal may be they will take it light but mostly they want to see your passport to match entry exit stamps with your residency sheet to match date so there may be a chance of RQ if you don't have passport in hand to show,,, if you can withdraw ur passport from embassy that will save you to get RQ but thats ur call show the officer ur receipt for passport renewal may be he/she will accept it but its depend on officer.

@Maverick2k4 - do you mind sharing the date of your test?

I applied 3 days before and did passed my test on the 31st August...

Thanks. One more thing...

Was your application a 'normal' one or was it urgent processing? Just curious since your oath date is actually very soon compared to when you got the notification!
@Maverick2k4

@vic.aj it was normal processing.

@cederjet ECAS still says Decision Made. When I click on the link, it shows the information for oath date.

Fortunately, the journey for my wife to become Canadian Citizen is finally over. She took her oath at Wolf Performance Hall, London Public Library on Friday, Oct 23, 2015. It was a special ceremony as perhaps why there were no restrictions on number of guests allowed. We were 5 all together ;D.

Here's her complete timeline:

25-Feb-15: APP Rec'vd
20-Mar-15: AOR Rec'vd
23-Apr-15: APP In-Process (E-Cas)
16-Jun-15: File Transfer (E-Cas)
20-Jul-15: Test Invitation
07-Aug-15: Test Taken
20-Aug-15: RQ Rec'vd
08-Sep-15: RQ Sent
14-Sep-15: Decision Made (E-Cas)
08-Oct-15: Oath Invitation
23-Oct-15: Oath Ceremony

Local office: London, ON
Total processing time: 8 months
